Lover of life and all things fantastical, Alaina Ewing’s tales cross genres and allow them to explore their deepest beliefs about humanity. They wrote The Heart-Shaped Emblor, a tale of the Ewlishash (bringers of the light), and authored “Blood of the Mother” that appeared in the anthology Witches, Stitches & Bitches. Alaina’s flash and nonfiction have appeared on several websites like happiness.org and sweatpantsandcoffee.com. Additional titles are under a pen name. Alaina is the former President of Cascade Writers, a nonprofit writing workshop in the pacific northwest, and has run numerous writing workshops for conventions and private events.
